How it works

Describe it. Discover it. Decide for yourself.

Yours Meets Mine helps complementary local needs meet—whether that is an NSW day trip, a walk or hike, a food outing, a skill swap, fishing crew or a sale.

01

Create a listing

Tell members what you can offer, what you are looking for, the best category and how far you will travel.

02

Get exact-match suggestions

Offer, request and category must complement one another. Distance ranks suitable matches; sharing a town is not a match by itself.

03

Choose what happens next

Review the explanation and details, then contact someone only when you decide the possibility is suitable.

What happens after you join?

  1. Set up your member space.Choose a display name, town area, search radius and starting avatar. Your exact street address and device location are not required.
  2. Write one clear offer and request. For example: “I have planned an easy coastal walk and I'm looking for company for the day.”
  3. See the status and next step.Listing text and photos may be checked automatically. If a person needs to assess it or a check is unavailable, the listing stays hidden until the administrator completes that check. The early-preview target is within 2 business days. Screening does not verify identity, accuracy, licences or safety.
  4. Compare the possibilities.Suggestions are decision-support only. You control your information, contact and arrangements.

What it does not do

Yours Meets Mine does not guarantee identity, safety, suitability or outcomes. It does not automatically message people, accept an offer, make a booking or create an agreement on your behalf.

Start with something simple

Try a small, specific idea: an easy local walk, an NSW day trip, a food stop, a fishing outing, a skill swap or a garage-sale item.
